Long before a new smartphone comes out of the factory, the handset begins in a creative mind. Mozilla's Billy May is such a creative mind. He shows what technology in the future might look like: a projection phone.
To be honest, it's not the first time we see a phone that has a projection keyboard. May also lets the phone project a complete screen, which makes that the phone comes close to being an alternative for a notebook. He shows his plans in a video:

Another concept that has been integrated in the phone by May, is a 3D mouse, that is fixed a the backside of the phone, that, unfortunately, stays virtual for now. Release the mouse from the handset, and you can control your phone in the air, in all directions. The small mouse can be used as BlueTooth headset as well.
