The famous and infamous Evan Blass has posted the official unboxing video of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE online. And that while Samsung has yet to officially announce the device. Handy, that way we already know what's in the box once the S24 FE is announced.
The 1 minute 25 second video tells a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. The video not only shows the contents of the box but it also explains the main features and specifications.
To begin with the contents of the box. It consists of:
- Samsung Galaxy S24 FE
- Quick Start Guide
- SIM Ejection Pin
- USB-C to C cable
Next, we learn that the S24 FE comes out in Blue, Graphite, Gray, Mint and Yellow. Like the S24, this FE also gets flat sides with a flat front and back. The three rear cameras are on the body with a silver ring each.
Powerful camera in Galaxy FE series ever
According to Samsung, the Galaxy S24 FE gets the most powerful camera in the Galaxy FE series ever. Portrait photos in the dark in particular should be improved thanks to the ProVisual Engine. The camera setup consists of a 50MP wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle and 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. The front camera has a 10MP sensor.
Samsung Exynos 2400e
Inside, Samsung has found room for an Exynos 2400e processor. That's a yet unannounced version of the Exynos 2400 that may have been clocked lower to save battery. Gaming is just possible with it and will no doubt be a delight on the 6.7-inch FHD+ screen. Even outdoors thanks to the higher 1900 nits peak brightness.
The battery of the Galaxy S24 FE has a capacity of 4700 mAh which is a nice increase over the 4500 mAh battery in the S23 FE. This results in a battery life that lets you watch videos for 28 hours, or listen to music for 81 hours straight. Says Samsung.
The video concludes with that the device features Galaxy AI. These features were one of the main features to tout the Galaxy S24 series. In that regard, it is striking that Galaxy AI gets so little attention in this video. We expect the official announcement sometime in late September or early October.
