The October 2024 launch of the OnePlus 13 is expected. We have probably already seen the back of the device and today we get a first look at the front. A Chinese top executive from OnePlus is already showing the screen.
The OnePlus 13, like its predecessor, the OnePlus 12, will get an Oriental screen from the also Chinese BOE. This second-generation screen recently successfully completed its tests and should comfortably beat the competition, according to OnePlus.
So writes Louis Lee on Weibo. The OnePlus 12. already scored very well with the first generation Oriental display, scoring an A+ at DisplayMate. The second generation promises even better performance. One can think of an even higher peak brightness which is especially useful outdoors.
OnePlus 13: previous rumors
Now that we see the screen of the OnePlus 13 does not mean that we see the OnePlus 13 as well. It may differ in some ways. For example, we don't yet know how thick and uniform the screen bezels are.
We learned earlier that OnePlus' latest flagship will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, may have a 6000 mAh battery and possibly get up to as much as 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
