With months to go before its actual launch, images of the Samsung Galaxy S25+ are appearing. The bigger brother of the S25 will be slightly thinner, look very similar to the S25 and generally look somewhat mediocre.
Samsung appears to have put little effort into the design of the upcoming S25 and S25+. Both phones look like their predecessor, perhaps a bit thinner with at first glance only the addition of camera rings. As a result, the camera looks more like the Fold 6 than the S24.
The render comes from @onleaks who, as always, bases his work on leaked CAD drawings. The Frenchman then sells his work to the highest bidder, in this case AndroidHeadlines.
Like its predecessor
Judging from the image, the Samsung Galaxy S25+ will still have a flat screen, with flat sides and rounded corners. At the back are three cameras and the screen presumably measures around 6.7 inches, just like the Galaxy S24+.
The source gives the dimensions as 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.3 millimeters. That makes the S25 Plus 0.4 millimeters thinner than its predecessor. Earlier, it was mentioned that the expected battery capacity comes out to 4700 mAh, just like its predecessor.
Snapdragon or Exynos?
It is likely that Samsung will announce the Galaxy S25+ along with the other S25 models in January of 2025. It is still unclear which processor Samsung plans to use. Either all models worldwide will get the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Samsung will apply the Exynos 2500 in parts of the world.
