Apple will announce the new iPhone 16 series on Sept. 9. Previously, it was assumed Sept. 10. The event will take place in the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple's headquarters. The event will have the tagline "It's Glowtime."
Mark Gurman had previously reported that Apple would hold an event on Sept. 10. Now we know it will be Sept. 9. The event will start at 10 a.m. local time, 7 p.m. Central European Time.
The event will be used to make the iPhone 16 series world famous. Also keep in mind some new Apple Watch models and possibly new AirPods. An Apple Keynote on a Monday is unusual. In recent years, they have typically taken place on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
It's Glowtime
It is unclear what the image on the invitation is trying to tell us. We see a glowing Apple logo. There is a moving version on its own website. In a tweet, Greg "Joz" Joswiak, Senior Vise President
Worldwide Marketing, "We're glowing with excitement! Monday, September 9. #AppleEvent".
Like other years, there is a tagline, this time it reads "It's Glowtime." This kind of animation with lots of colorful transitions is usually used for AI features, partly because of its magical effect. The Apple iPhone 16 series will be the first to feature Apple Intelligence; Apple's own interpretation of AI.
