Rugged Motorola edge 50 neo official

Lenovo has officially announced the Motorola edge 50 neo. The device has a more robust body thanks to MIL-STD-810H certification. This is a military standard that makes the device extra durable.

If you compare the Motorola edge 50 neo with its predecessor, a few things stand out. For example, the screen is slightly smaller, and the battery also loses out on capacity. Fortunately, there is something in return.

Thus, the edge 50 neo features an additional camera bringing the total to three. The 50MP main camera consists of a Sony Lytia 700C sensor, the ultra-wide-angle camera features a 120° wide viewing angle and new is the 10MP camera with telephoto lens. This allows up to 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom.

MIL-STD-810H certified

The housing of the edge 50 neo is still IP68 waterproof, but is now more robust with a MIL-STD-810H which is a military standard.

The battery can charge quickly with 68W wired or wirelessly with up to 15W. Lenovo sprinkles in a lot of storage. By default, the device comes with as much as 512GB of storage memory. RAM memory has not been skimped on either; a generous 12GB of RAM is present.

Moto AI

That large amount of RAM comes in handy because of the many Moto AI features. For example, Magic Canvas creates backgrounds based on text commands. You can also have themes generated based on a photo.
