On July 16, OnePlus will announce a new mid-range phone in the Nord series. This Nord 4 will feature a design most reminiscent of an old Google Pixel phone, but modern.
The OnePlus Nord 4 promises to be a 6.74-inch smartphone with a sharp 1.5K display, a powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and with a 5500 mAh large battery. There is a 50MP main camera on the back and an 8MP camera with ultra-wide-angle lens.
That back side in particular stands out. Its design is reminiscent of the first three generations of Google Pixel phones. Those too had a back with glossy top. However, OnePlus applies a metal underside to the Nord 4. The bezels are also metal and, like the front, have a flat finish.
OnePlus Nord 4 specifications
The renders published at Android Headlines tell a good story of what the future device will look like, but fortunately we get specifications to go with them. For example, we know that the Nord 4 can charge quickly with 100W. That's many times faster than other mid-range phones.
Prices we just don't know yet. But if the Nord 3 is any indication, we're guessing around 450 euros. That's hefty for a mid-range phone but considering the aforementioned specifications, it's also justified.
