Press images of the upcoming Motorola edge 50 neo have appeared. These show an additional rear camera that can be used to zoom in. And that's not the only difference, for example, the fashionable device gets a completely different look.
Lenovo appears to be using the same camera island for the Motorola edge 50 neo that we see on other contemporary Motorola devices. Here, the cameras sit at an angle on a square elevation with sloping edge. We count three of them on the 50 neo this time.
According to the source, it involves a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide angle and a 10MP telephoto camera for zooming. Exactly how far the latter camera can zoom remains a secret for now until Lenovo officially announces the device.
No more rounded glass
The edge 50 neo differs in one more way from its predecessor, the edge 40 neo. And that is that this time the screen is flat. This screen measures 6.4 inches from corner to corner and features a smooth 120Hz display.
Lenovo further swaps out the MediaTek Dimensity 7030 for the Dimensity 7300 which on paper should provide a nice speed gain. The 50 neo hereby gets 8GB of RAM memory for the model with 256GB of storage and a whopping 12GB for the 512GB version. More than enough for a mid-range smartphone.
Edge 50 neo: two memory options, four colors
Expect the Motorola edge 50 neo to come in four colors soon; Nautical Blue (blue), Latte (cream), Grisaille (gray) and Poinciana (red). So there's plenty to Choose between, only we don't know when yet.
In fact, a launch date has not yet been announced. But for what it's worth; the edge 40 neo was announced in September of 2023.
