Pictures of the Asus Zenfone 10 are surfacing ahead of its official unveiling on Thursday, June 29. The device looks similar to its predecessor, with the same compact screen and rear camera layout.
And yet, there are things to look forward to for the Zenfone 10. If only for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is even more powerful and faster than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 inside the Zenfone 9. It also comes with a new color: green.
Like last year, the Zenfone 10 will have a 5.9-inch screen with a punch-hole in the upper left corner. The screen bezels, particularly at the bottom, appear smaller but are still present. The dual camera rings at the back remain intact, with each hole having its own camera. This time presumably for a 200MP primary camera and an unspecified ultra-wide-angle camera. That means a separate zoom lens is still missing.
Flawlessly larger battery
Interestingly, Asus is bringing back the 3.5mm headphone port. That was still missing on the Zenfone 9. But the change we can appreciate most is the significantly larger battery capacity. That goes from 4300mAh to 5000mAh. Considering the size of the screen, that's a significant improvement. Fast charging goes up to a maximum of 67W which is more than double before.
Asus will announce the Zenfone 10 on Thursday, June 29, 2023, in at least five colors; black, blue, green, red, and white. Prices will not be much different from those of the Zenfone 9.
