With a week and a half left on the clock, we have the official images of the Galaxy Watch Ultra in. Once again, Samsung has failed to keep everything a secret. But a week earlier or later doesn't matter.
Samsung has created something special with the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The square-looking watch features a round screen. It delivers a quirky timepiece, which you may or may not love. Either way, it's loosening tongues considerably.
Images of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra reached us via Evan Blass. This news scoop veteran is infamous and famous in the world. At Samsung's press office, that emotion goes a step further; they can shoot him there. Especially since Evan is frequently the source of unannounced Samsung products.
10ATM waterproof
In addition to an all-new design, the images show that the Watch Ultra will get the SM-L705F type number and come out in silver/white, black and orange/gray. The screen has a diagonal of 47mm but thanks to the square casing, this will be larger in practice.
On the right are two rectangular buttons with a round button in between. What these buttons are for is still unclear. The back further tells us that the screen is protected by sapphire crystal and has LTE and GPS.
The timepiece is 10ATM waterproof. This is no coincidence; the Apple Watch Ultra is also rated for this depth (10 bar = 100 meters depth).
Galaxy Unpacked
Samsung will announce this Galaxy Watch Ultra during Galaxy Unpacked which will be held on July 10, 2024 in Paris. Also expected during this event are the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6, Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro. So it promises to be a long presentation.
