Lenovo adds two new flip phones to its lineup. The Motorola razr 40 and razr 40 ultra are next-generation foldables with a larger screen, sleeker design, and more powerful chipsets.
The razr 40 and razr 40 ultra succeed the razr 2022. Two phones in which, the razr 40 ultra, in particular, stands out for its large secondary screen that runs around the cameras. In contrast, the razr 40 is an affordable alternative with almost the same design but at a much lower price.
So two new foldables that should serve both ends of the spectrum. The razr 40 has a suggested retail price of €899.99 and the razr 40 ultra is priced at €1,199.99.
razr 40 ultra
The most comprehensive of the two is the razr 40 ultra. It features a large 3.6-inch square external screen that incorporates a dual camera. This large screen can be used to send messages or access apps.
The hinge has also been redesigned, allowing the razr 40 ultra to fold entirely flat. This creates the "thinnest flippable smartphone" at the moment, only 15.1 millimeters. However, the thinnest foldable remains the Google Pixel Fold, which, when folded, is just 12.1 millimeters thick. The new teardrop hinge, combined with Ultra-Thin Glass, ensures no visible or tangible fold.
