Oppo has announced the Reno12 F with Oppo AI. Compared to its predecessor, the specifications are a bit less. In its place, quite a few AI features have been added, especially useful while shooting.
A less powerful MediaTek processor, a main camera with slightly fewer megapixels and the casing is also slightly less water-resistant. No, on paper, the Reno12 F does not seem like an improvement over the Reno11 F. The arrival of Oppo AI should make up for that.
Oppo AI is the collective name of various AI features. One of them is AI Eraser 2.0 which allows you to erase people from the background. AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 lets you add emojis, stickers and funny backgrounds. And AI Studio lets you turn people from portrait photos into cartoon characters.

It's still a while until we can give you the price of the Oppo Reno12 F. The device does not yet have a price on any Oppo website. Until they come up with one, you can think about which color you want. The choices are Olive Green and Amber Orange and inspired by the Pantone color of the year 2024 (Peach Fuzz).
