Nothing, Carl Pei's company that co-founded OnePlus with Pete Lau, has released a special version of the Nothing Phone (2a). A version that is many times more colorful than we are used to from Nothing.
Nothing's designs are characterized by the use of transparent materials interspersed with white and black colors. Components are also visible on the now-launched Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition, but they now have color.
As a result, the Phone 2a Special Edition looks a bit unusual from the back, almost circus-like. But it does stand out, and no doubt that was its intention. Nothing adds that this is a limited edition, so some speed is required if you are interested.
Special, not different
The Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition gets no other features apart from the new color theme but is only available in a 12+256GB configuration. That means the same bright 1300 nits screen, the Nothing-made MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro and dual 50MP camera with ultra-wide-angle lens.
The Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition is available from Nothing for 379 euros. That price corresponds to the regular version with 256GB of storage. We may eventually see the version appear elsewhere. Nothing also uses the name "Bauhaus" for the Special Edition color.
