OnePlus appears to be changing the design of the upcoming OnePlus 13 considerably. For example, the round camera island should give way to a more traditional design. So remains from published images on Weibo.
The OnePlus 12 is only four months old at the time of writing. And yet today we get a look at its alleged successor; the OnePlus 13.
A first render of the back of the OnePlus 13 was shared on China's Weibo. Immediately notice that the round camera module, so characteristic of OnePlus in recent years, is gone. OnePlus applied it since the OnePlus 11 that set it apart from the rest.
Hasselblad camera
The camera of the OnePlus 13 still seems to be made in collaboration with Hasselblad. We can see a shortened Hasselblad logo on the camera module. On it are three different camera sensors in which we also recognize a periscope camera.
Not everyone seems convinced by the above information. Well-known insider Yogesh Brar reports on X that he assumes another round camera module, but this time in the middle and similar to the Oppo Find X7. Who is going to be right may not become clear for several months.
