Benchmark of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 released. Here's what you need to know

Geekbench has published a benchmark of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip6. The final report outlines the specifications and performance. Let us explain what we expect.

First of all, the benchmark teaches us that Samsung equips the Galaxy Z Flip 6 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 from Qualcomm. Previous Flip models were also equipped with Qualcomm chipsets, so this comes as no surprise. However, we do see that the tested model has 8GB of RAM. Earlier, it was rumored that it had 12GB of RAM.

Of course, Samsung can also bring 256+8GB and 512+12GB versions. More surprising is how the future Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 performs. This flip device scores almost as well as the S24 Ultra, currently Samsung's flagship device. In other words, a device with which the Flip6 does not necessarily compete.

Comparing the new Flip to its predecessor, the Flip 5, it almost scores a double Vulkan score: 15050 against 7626.

Android version

Flipping through the benchmark further, we notice that this device was tested on Android 14. It remains to be seen whether that will be the version with which the Z Flip 6 will ship. Android 15 is scheduled for release in the fall. That's just a little later than when this Flip is expected.
