It looks like we have the first real images of the Pixel 9 Pro. A photo has appeared in which the device figures. That photo also tells us a little more about the amount of RAM.
The Google Pixel 9 is soon expected to come in three flavors: a Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro XL. In this picture, we are looking at the 9 Pro. Like the larger XL, it appears to have a periscope camera, allowing further zooming.
The Google Pixel 9 Pro is expected to feature a compact 6.1-inch screen. Yet the device doesn't seem that much smaller compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which features a much larger 6.7-inch screen.
16GB of RAM
In another image published by Russia's Rozetked, we can see the amount of RAM used. The screen reads 16GB. That, combined with the expected Tensor G4 processor, should ensure smooth performance. However, we are waiting for the final results after an extensive field test.
Should Google indeed announce the Pixel 9 series, as we mentioned here, It will break with its long-standing strategy. There will be two Pro models of different sizes. The regular entry-level model will be almost the same size as the smallest Pro, just like Apple's current iPhone.
Don't expect a launch before the fall, by the way. Google usually releases new Pixel phones simultaneously with the presentation of a new Android version. Android 15 is not expected until August.
