As expected Apple just announced a new iPhone SE. Apple's most affordable iPhone gets 5G support and is more powerful thanks to the A15 Bionic. That's the same processor as in the iPhone 13 line-up.
The new iPhone SE still features a 4.7-inch display, making it one of the most compact iPhone. New is the stronger glass on both the front and back. According to Apple, it's the hardest glass on a smartphone ever and of the same type as on the iPhone 13.
The iPhone SE 2022 is powered by an Apple A15 Bionic; the same chipset as in the iPhone 13 and therefore just as powerful. This also ensures that there is support for 5G. In terms of appearance, little else has changed. There is still a home button under the screen with the old familiar Touch ID.

The camera still has a single 12MP sensor but this year supports Smart HDR 4 and Deep Fusion for more natural color reproduction and better night mode also during video recording. Apple's most affordable iPhone is available for preorder starting Friday, March 11 for a starting price of $429 and will be in stores starting March 18 in Midnight, Starlight and (PRODUCT)RED colors.
