Compact Oppo Find X8s seen in full on video
New footage of the compact Oppo Find X8s has emerged. Thus, we now see for the first time the back of the device with the round camera module characteristic of Oppo.
The device figures in two videos. In the first one, Chinese actor Li Xian is seen holding the Oppo Find X8s. We see the device from the back and in a white version. Earlier it was revealed that the device has a compact 6.3-inch screen with extra thin screen bezels.
In yet another video, we see the device next to the iPhone 16 Pro. That Oppo chooses this very device says something about where we should place the Find X8s. In this video, we do not see the device from the back but it is weighed and measured. Thus, the weight comes out to just under 180 grams and a thickness of 7.7 millimeters. Not ultra-thin, but still compact.
The above video was released by Oppo itself. They claim the device has a larger battery than the iPhone also shown. It is said to be a Silicon-Carbon (Si-C) Glacier battery with presumably a hefty battery capacity.

Uncertainty about global launch
It is assumed that Oppo will announce the Find X8 Ultra along with this Find X8s in China in April of 2025. Then we will also hear whether Oppo has plans to release the device outside of China. There is no definite word on that yet.
