Benchmark shows: Samsung Galaxy XCover 8 Pro gets 50% faster

Last year the alleged battery of the XCover 8 Pro already surfaced, and this time we have news about the power source that Samsung intends to apply. We are talking about one that is 50% more powerful than in the XCover 6 Pro.

All this is evident from a report that appeared on Geekbench and which Sammobile writes about. For example, the future XCover 8 Pro scores as much as 50% better than the XCover 6 Pro. The latter used a Snapdragon 778G chipset, while it is still unclear which chipset we will find in the 8 Pro.

Those wondering where in all this is the XCover 7 Pro: that's a good question! Despite the fact that the XCover 7 exists, so far no XCover 7 Pro has been announced. A device with that name has been wandering the rumor circuit for some time, as has the XCover 8 Pro, but so far never saw the light of day. Whether the device was canceled, delayed or announced simultaneously: we don't know.

Galaxy XCover 8 Pro specifications

All in all, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 8 Pro promises to be a rugged smartphone with a 4350mAh "big" battery and with mid-range performance. The source thinks Samsung is using the Snapdragon 7s Gen3 but is not sure. Unfortunately, despite today's leak, we don't know much more. Nor when Samsung will announce it. Although that doesn't seem to be very long away.
