Samsung is holding a Galaxy A announcement on March 17. We strongly anticipate the introduction of the Galaxy A53 during that event but we may also get to see the A73. Now another yet unannounced Galaxy A device is surfacing; the A33.
And so it still promises to be a busy event. Should Samsung indeed release both the A33, the A53 and A73 then the now released A33 promises to be the simplest 5G device of the trio.
Images of the Galaxy A33 5G appeared at Appuals.com where, in addition to the color blue, we also encounter it in white, black and peach. The source also mentions some specifications:
- 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz
- Samsung Exynos 1280 processor running at up to 2.4GHz
- 48+8+5+2MP camera with 120° ultra-wide angle
- 13MP selfie camera with f/2.2 lens
- 5000 mAh battery + 25W fast charging
- Android 12 + One UI 4.1
- Waterproof IP67 housing
Just as was discovered earlier with the A53 5G, this A33 5G also seems to be sold without a charger in the box. A trend we have seen before but mainly in the more expensive segment.
On Thursday, March 17, 2022, we will undoubtedly hear more about this and presumably other Galaxy A phones during a special Unpacked event.
