- Rectangular camera module: Camera sits in device-wide elevation with rounded corners.
- More scratch-resistant screen: New version Ceramic Shield with anti-reflective coating and better scratch resistance.
- Larger battery: Thicker casing gives room for larger battery.
- A19 Pro chip: Baked by TSMC's updated 3rd generation 3nm process chips.
- Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip: No longer a Broadcom chip but Apple-developed Wi-Fi chip.
- 24 MP selfie camera: A doubling in resolution.
- 48 MP telephoto camera: Improved telephoto camera over 12 MP version earlier.
- 12 GB of RAM RAM memory: Additional RAM memory for Apple Intelligence.
- Improved cooling: Better heat dissipation thanks to application of vapor chamber.
The upcoming iPhone 17 Pro will be joined by the entry-level iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Air and the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The design of the Pro models is very similar, apart from the size. According to rumors, this one will have a back consisting of aluminum and glass, which can be clearly seen in this photo from @SonnyDickson.
