Also new Samsung touchscreen surfaced
It must be good times for touchscreen fanatics. First a 1GHz touchscreen model of Toshiba and a multimediamonster of LG were announced and now the Samsung i8910 asks for attention.
The Samsung Acme has pretty much the same look as the new Toshiba TG01 and the LG KM900 Arena.
The i8910 Ame also has some great features; touchscreen, 8 megapixel, GPS, HDMI exit, WiFi, 3.5mm audio jack. If the device gets a HDMI exit, of High-Definition Multi-media Interface, this would be the first time this is used in a mobile phone to transfer sound and video to your Plasma or LCD TV. We know the video-out function for a while now, but these are analog and HDMI is digital.
Symbian?
Because screen shots are still unknown we can only speculate about the operating system that works on the Samsung i8910 Acme. Although we can assume that we are dealing with Symbian S60. And if so, than this is the first time Samsung is using this OS for a touchscreen device.
