Rumor: Design of entry-level iPhone 17 not changed
In recent days we have seen images of the new design of the iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro. Big absent was footage and information about the entry-level iPhone 17. A device-wide camera bar is less obvious there because of the vertical camera setup. And that's why this model won't get the new design either.
The new design with a camera bar across the entire back of the device does succeed on the iPhone 17 Air because of the single camera. And with the Pro models, that's solved by making it higher to make room for the triangular camera setup. With the iPhone 17, Apple mainly wants to leave things the way they are.

So thinks Jon Prosser, who previously came up with renders of the Air and Pro. This just goes to show that Apple has excellent marketing skills. For real change, you'll have to fork out for the more expensive iPhone 17 Air or iPhone 17 Pro.
Well finally 120Hz, 35W fast charging
Now it does rumor that the Apple iPhone 17 will (finally) feature a smooth 120Hz display. This ProMotion display has been commonplace on Pro models for years and we have been encountering it on competitors for years, even on some budget phones.

Finally, analyst Jeff Pu thinks he knows how much power we can use to charge the iPhone 17 series. According to him, the iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max all charge with up to 35W wired. That is no different for the Pro models than last year, but for the entry-level model, it is an increase.
