Asus has invited the press to an event on Thursday, March 14, at 08:00 PM (UTC+8). There is no big secret because Asus is openly mentioning what will happen. We will then see the introduction of the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra, a new flagship device.
Asus is holding its own nicely in the phone market, faithfully releasing a new Zenfone every year. The phones tend to be a bit more compact than we are used to now, thus serving a niche market looking for a small(er) phone. Whether the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra is also compact remains to be seen.
The Zenfone 11 Ultra promises to be an innovative flagship packed with AI features, according to Taiwanese-based Asus. The event will be held simultaneously in Taipei (08:00 PM), Berlin (13:00) and New York (08:00 AM).
Zenfone 11 Ultra features
Besides giving a snapshot of the device itself, Asus reveals that it can record smooth video, has a long battery life, has an extra-large screen, and has a video portrait mode. We look forward to hearing more about that during the unveiling.
A previously released benchmark already revealed that inside the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra sits a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with 16GB of RAM. The device has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate.
