Samsung introduces own App Store
After Apple introduced its App Store producers who have no App Store nowadays really have a shortcoming. Samsung is also introducing its own App Store for Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 devices.
The store will be announced offically during the MWC event in Barcelona. It seems that the store will be tested in England. The App Store, in the form of a website, has more than a thousand applications for Windows Mobile and S60 smartphones. Other platforms will probably follow soon.

Samsung is trying for a while to get developers to develop Samsung applications. It recently started the Samsung Mobile Innovator project that offered the possibility to developers to write simple applications for Samsung Symbian S60 devices. All participants have also access to present their applications in the new App Store.
