Asus has announced the Zenfone 12 Ultra. Aside from a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and improved gimbal stabilization, there is little new under the sun. Hardware-wise, that is, because the software can count on many more AI features.
It was a piece of cake for us to add the Zenfone 12 Ultra; just grab the Zenfone 11 Ultra and adjust the processor and you're done. You expect manufacturers to do more when they call a phone Ultra but no.

Along with the new power source is an improved gimbal camera stabilization. This 6-axis gimbal delivers up to 66% more stable videos than its predecessor. AI is additionally used for keeping the subject in focus, adding depth of field and removing unwanted objects.
Sony Lytia 700
Most of the photos are shot by the 50MP camera with Sony Lytia 700 sensor. Zoom in up to 3x with the 32MP camera with built-in IOS while the third lens captures images in ultra-wide angle up to 120°. Up front is a 32MP selfie camera with a 90° wide lens.

Asus supplies the Zenfone 12 Ultra with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM memory and up to 512GB of UFS4.0 storage memory. The battery is again 5500 mAh in size, with 65W fast wired and 15W wireless charging. The screen is also recognizable with a 6.78-inch panel, 2500 nits peak brightness and smooth 120Hz display.
