First Apple iPhone 16E dummy appeared, successor to iPhone SE
A new iPhone SE is coming, that much is clear. What this one is called is still unclear, but we do get a first glimpse of what the device looks like. In fact, photos have surfaced of a dummy copy. And those are nothing like the iPhone SE is now.
These are two dummy copies in black and white. It appears to be a relatively small iPhone, entirely in line with the current iPhone SE. What that successor will be called is still unknown, possibly it will be the iPhone 16E but iPhone SE 4 and SE (2025) are also possible.

Unfortunately, we don't have a picture of the front. So we don't know if the screen has a notch like Apple used up to and including the iPhone 14, or a Dynamic Island which is common now. We do see a single camera on the back and a slider on the left side to set the device to silent. Apple replaced this Ring/Silent button with the Action Button starting with the iPhone 15 Pro.
Old-fashioned button layout
Another button we don't see is the Camera Button. Why Apple omits these buttons is still unclear, but possibly it wants to create a difference with the other (more expensive) models. Now although these are dummy models, this would more or less fix the layout.

The same is not true of the colors. We do expect some more color offerings than just black and white. Previous iPhone SE models also came out in plenty of colorful options. Perhaps we'll hear more in April 2025. That date was previously mentioned by Mark Gurman as a possible launch date.
