Remember the images of the HTC Touch.B running the new Brew Platform of chipmanufacturer Qualcomm? HTC apparently was more advanced then we thought and has officially announced the device by the name of 'Smart'.
Designwise the HTC Smart has (both from the outside and inside) similarities to the Touch2. But there is one special difference; the Smart is the first phone running on the new Brew Mobile Platform of Qualcomm.

The Smart is equipped with HTC's award-winning Sense userinterface. Because of this the Smart is very easy in use and graphically attractive. A real phone for the masses. HTC emphasizes that it does not concern a smartphone.
HTC Sense
HTC wants everyone to be in touch with her own Sense userinterface. This UI revolves around 3 things; "Make It Mine", "Stay Close" and "Discover the Unexpected". Boogie-talk to keep your contacts in the picture. In a blink of an eye you'll see what your friends are doing through Facebook updates and be able to quick and easy send text messages or emails.
Brew Mobile Platform
The given that the HTC Smart runs on the new Brew Mobile Platform of Qualcomm may be more interesting. At least for techies. The platform makes cheap phones available with quite a few functions and graphic possibilities.
The HTC Smart will be available somewhere in spring. Prices are not yet known.
