LG Optimus 3D get a successor: CX2
The LG Optimus 3D Speed gets a sequel. The first 3D smartphone in Europe is almost a year old now. Time for a new model that comes as the 'CX2'.
The CX2, a code name, has a 1.2 GHz dual core processor from Texas Instruments, a small improvement over the 1 GHz copy in the Optimus 3D. The screen size and resolution reportedly remain unchanged from the first 3D handset from LG. The CX2, like its predecessor, has a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, with a diagonal of 4.3 inches. This said to bea very bright LG Nova screen.

In order to take 3D videos, the CX2 comes with two cameras. According to Pocketnow both have a resolution of 5 megapixels. As you would expect from a smartphone, the handset supports WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0. This new smartphone is also equipped with a NFC chip. The CX2 is to be presented a the MWC in Barcelona. That show is held late February.
