The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will be released in these countries
Launch thinnest Galaxy in years in “only” 39 countries
The thinnest Galaxy in years is coming out in only 39 countries, according to a new source. And that includes remarkably few European countries. The Netherlands is also missing from the list.

The list below came into the hands of PhoneArena. Why the list includes precisely these countries and not others is unclear. It is striking that Russia is included, despite its many sanctions, and countries like the Netherlands are not. Here Samsung usually sells very well, including the high-end Galaxy phones.
- Afghanistan
- Australia
- Australië
- Brazilië
- Kaukasus
- Kroatië
- Egypte
- Frankrijk
- India
- Irak
- Ierland
- Israël
- Kazakhstan
- Kenia
- Libië
- Maleisië
- Mexico
- Morokko
- Nigeria
- Pakistan
- Filipijnen
- Polen
- Portugal
- Rusland
- Saudi-Arabia
- Senegal
- Serbia and Montenegro
- Singapore
- Slovenia
- South Africa
- Sri Lanka
- Switzerland
- Thailand
- Tunisia
- Turkey
- United Arab Emirates
- United Kingdom
- Ozbekistan
- Vietnam
One possible explanation is that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is only equipped with eSIM. This digital SIM card is not yet supported by every carrier. It was previously revealed that this was the reason why the S25 Slim would not be released in the US because of this.

In the Netherlands, however, all major carriers support the so-called embedded SIM card. So that is not why the Galaxy S25 Slim is skipping our country. Perhaps, according to Samsung, we are not yet ready for extra thin phones.
