NewMobile.NL adopts new & more convenient website
Since a few days you can find a new design on NieuweMobiel.NL. After 9 years it was high time for a new look. It is now the 8th generation of a website that started as a hobby project in 2002 and after 22.5 years is still independent and under own management.
What in 2002 was nothing more than a collection of phone specifications, the layout of which was made entirely in an HTML table, in 2025 has grown into a modern website according to the latest and latest specifications. There are now 7277 products in our database, from phones to tablets, smartwatches and wireless earbuds.
.Whereas in the past everything was made in-house, this time a website template was chosen. Some things are just better outsourced, and a layout is a good example of that. However, it is completely customized to the needs and requirements of NieuweMobiel.NL. For example, the products, including phones and subscriptions, have a prominent place.
Improved comparator
You immediately see how many colors a product is available in and with a click of a button you can compare it. While many parts initially have the same place and functionality, the comparator in particular has had a major upgrade.
Similar specifications are grouped better and there is now the ability to highlight differences. So you no longer have to manually go through everything minutely but can see at a glance what is different. Phones are still displayed relative to each other. So you can also compare the size in relation to each other.
Dark mode
Other differences include showing delivery times with prices, being able to like products to make them easier to find later and making accessories such as chargers, bluetooth trackers and powerbanks more findable. Oh and don't forget dark mode!
.Behind the scenes, we work hard every day to read current prices, add new products and write news articles about all things mobile. New updates to the website are also part of this, although they are not rolled out daily.
