It seems that the X1 from Sony Ericsson is finally getting a successor, at least that are the findings of a CEO of a supplier of Sony Ericsson. The X2 is just like the X1 using Windows Mobile.
It was Ted Morgan, CEO of Skyhook Wireless, that said this during an interview with GigaOM. Skyhook supplies the so-called geo location data to among others Apple. Morgan also indicated that the X2 is using the services of Skyhook to determine your location in Google Maps.
Besides this information not much is known about the successor of the XPERIA X1. Except the fact that Sony Ericsson again has chosen to use Windows Mobile, and that the X2 therefore is not the first device of the joint venture using Android.
